Welcome back to HH365! Today we will start a new series as we take a look into movies that we cannot wait to see coming in 2020!
Today is actually our top pick, The Conjuring 3.
This will continue the story told by James Wan about the life and adventures into the unexplained with Ed and Lorraine Warren.
These movies have really been an up and down roller coaster ride with this Movie Universe. The first Conjuring was outstanding. With the exception of the last Annabelle movie released, I have really enjoyed the majority of them. I am really looking forward to see where they take it this time around. Early reports say the movie is centered around a real life haunting that the Devil himself has caused. There are some more interesting ideas going on with this film but we will leave that to the Imagination! Plus, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson how can you go wrong?
Some people will be surprised that as such a huge Halloween movie fan that this has peaked my interest for 2020. With being such a Slasher fan, and a new Halloween movie releasing will just show you the bad taste the 2018 Halloween left in my mouth.
That is all for this episode, feel free to let us know what you are most excited about coming out in 2020 for the Horror Genre.
Keep it here at HH365! Where Every Day Is Haunt Season!

What Can Rob Zombie Teach Us About Haunting?
Welcome back to another episode of HH365! Today, we will take a look at what one of the masters of Horror can do for the Haunt Industry by simply checking out his movies.
Rob Zombie has mastered the Directors chair and made some high quality Cinema. From his first film House of a 1000 Corpses to his latest film Three from Hell. The reason I chose Zombie over all of the other great Horror Directors for Haunts and this Industry is because Zombie is very Visual. A lot of Directors will use mostly Psychological tactics to scare their crowd. This can work in Haunts but will take longer to achieve and that is sometimes very difficult as most walk throughs will run about five to ten minutes.
The fact that Haunted Attractions are mostly so short means that there is very little time to build up fear in the brain and will rely a lot more on visual fear. If you sit down and actually watch Zombie's first film, just take a look at the scenes. The house, super creepy. The Underground. Horrifying. Then just continue on to the next films and the scenery keeps getting better and better. Zombie knows how to set a mood for Horror without using too much of the Brain which will help any Haunt to come up with ideas on how to make certain rooms pop.
That is all we have for you today, make sure you keep coming back to HH365 for all of your Haunt and Horror needs!

What We Learned From The 2019 Season. Part 1.
Welcome Back to another episode of HH365! Today we will start an Off-Season series called What we learned from Haunt Season 2019. This will be new things we have seen in Haunts through out the 2019 season.
This episode in particular we want to talk about the additions of White out mazes that a few Haunts have had but some have added. With the use of correctly placed fog and very bright light creates an atmosphere that makes it very hard to see and very easy for the actors to creep up on you.
The real masters of this effect find ways to hide right in front of you. As it is very difficult to see a foot in front of you, it gives Actors room to make good moves and not be trapped into a turn here and a turn there to grab scares. They can really float around and get very creative when it comes to getting in your face.
We really enjoyed the new ones that we faced this season. We can only hope that we can see more in 2020!
What else new did we find in 2019? Well, keep it here to HH365! Where Every Day Is Haunt Season!

Movies VS Reality Part 7. The Story Behind The Shining.
Welcome back to HH365. Today we will continue our Movies VS Reality Segment with The true story behind The Shining by Steven King that became the Cult classic film with Jack Nicholson. Lets take a dive in and see what the story behind the Hotel and Stephen King have to do with The Shining.
The Overlook Hotel in the book is inspired by the real life hotel, The Stanley Hotel located in Estes Park, Colorado. According to many witnesses, The Stanley Hotel is much scarier then its fictional counterpart. With ghostly children seen playing on the fourth floor hallway and a cowboy hanged for murder lurking around room 428. There are claims that the original land owner who died in 1926.
Out of all of the rooms in the hotel, all 142 of them. Room 217 is by far the scariest and hardest to book if you are brave enough to stay there. According to witnesses, Room 217 is home to a long time deceased chambermaid named Mrs. Wilson. Mrs. Wilson is spending her eternal life endlessly cleaning the room she is imprisoned in. Guests have reported that when they were staying in this room they felt mysterious sensations in the night with many reporting they were woken up with a poke to the ribs if they leave the room in a messy state.
It was in room 217 that Stephen King spent a winter night with his wife in 1974. During his stay, he suffered a horrible nightmare about his being chased down the hallway by a possessed fire hose. At the time of his stay he was fighting alcoholism and that horror was the basis for The Shining. A book about an alcoholic writer who spends the winter being driven mad by the evil spirits in a Haunted Hotel.
Very interesting stuff! A Real haunted location inspired the King of Horror Writing to write one of his best Novels of all time. Even though King was not a fan of the movie by Stanley Kubrick. It was still a great Horror Movie and was yet again inspired by true events!

Tuesday's With TheMovieVlog Black Christmas 1974
Welcome back everyone to another episode of HH365, Today we will have our Movie Review of the week. Black Christmas. Let us get to it. Christmas you say! Yes, we are a little backed up on movie reviews but this is still one of the original "Slasher" films so I decided to stick to it and post it! Lets get to it!
Black Christmas (1974)
"Oh, why don't you go find a wall socket and stick your
tongue in it. That'll give you a charge."
Story:
"During their Christmas break, a group of sorority
girls are stalked by a stranger."
The film opens at a Sorority house during Christmas break.
It's the last night before everyone goes home for the holidays. The girls all
gather around the phone, because "The Moaner" has called them once
again. They listen as the man on the phone goes on about some really unsettling
things. Barb (Margot Kidder's character) tells him off, to which he replies,
"I'm going to kill you." This story really isn't complex. We get to
look into the lives of these sorority sisters as someone is killing them off
one by one. The phone calls they receive add to the mystery. Who is this
mysterious caller? Why does he want to hurt the girls in the house?
Acting:
These are all seasoned actors and actresses. Margot Kidder
and Olivia Hussey are both horror favorites, and they pretty much carry the
film. John Saxon also plays a cop in this one. Everyone would later know him as
Nancy's dad in Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). I like how real these actors
make this movie feel. They all seem like normal people and down to earth
(unlike the way that sorority girls are now portrayed in film).
Fear Factor:
I've always found Black Christmas to be completely
unsettling and just down right creepy. "The Moaner", or
"Billy", is one of the scariest and mysterious killers in horror
history. I love the twist that this film has to offer, and along with the
fantastic way that the film is shot, it truly makes it one of a kind. This is
the type of slow burn that I really enjoy. The phone calls are literally the
stuff of nightmares. That has always been my favorite part of this horror
classic.
Originality:
At the time, slasher films were not a thing. This was a very
new format in the horror genre. Besides Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which released
two months prior), nothing like this had really been done. Bob Clark has a
complete horror masterpiece on his hands, and it's been that way since day one.
Overall:
I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that I completely
adore this film. Everything from the story, to acting, to cinematography, to
the kills, and just everything in between is just perfect film making. This is
the kind of horror that just gets under your skin, and is very hard to come by.
I couldn't recommend Black Christmas enough! "If this picture doesn't make
your skin crawl, it's on too tight!"
Next week, I'll be reviewing the 2006 remake of "Black
Christmas". If you haven't had the chance to watch it, please do! "On
Christmas Eve, an escaped maniac returns to his childhood home, which is now a
sorority house, and begins to murder the sorority sisters one by one."
Scores:
Overall:
Well, it is apparent that she loved this movie! I have not personally seen this one yet but it is on the list. Great Review!
Yes, With the holiday season the website has been a bit sporadic but we will have it back to new posts everyday soon! Thank you for stopping by and continue to check us out at HH365! Where Every Day Is Haunt Season.

We Are Back!
Welcome back to another episode of HH365! After our brief Hiatus and our break from six day coverage. We are happy to announce that we are back!
We have exactly seven months until Opening night of Haunt Tour 2020 and we will continue our six day coverage starting today! We will be adding some new content across the board while also looking for some new blood across this great country to find some new contributors as we are always planning on growing.
We have added a Twitch channel which we are not completely sure how we will use but we are excited to get into a new form of connection with Haunt fans. Twitch becoming an up and coming place to watch interesting things, we figured we would starts a channel and see where it goes.
We will add some news as it is made available, also continue our movie review segment as there are quite a few movies coming and from the past that fit this genre beautifully.
We also plan on building on our youtube site. One of our videos is over 1.3k viewed which we never ever expected and it continues to grow. It is our behind the scenes tour of Reapers Revenge. People have been watching that like crazy so we want to build on that and add new video content on top of our writing.
We have a ton left to do for 2020 so keep it here to HH365! Where everyday is Haunt Season!
